REMEDIAL MASSAGE
Remedial massage is great for never-ending headaches, sciatica, tight shoulders, carpal tunnel, and bad posture. Our initial analysis tests for muscle spasms and musculoskeletal problems. SPORTS MASSAGE

It’s after the game that sport massage does the job of reducing lactic acid build-up and relieving tired, aching muscles.
DRY NEEDLING
Dry needling helps release extremely stubborn muscle tension using techniques similar to acupuncture. While acupuncture aims to alter the flow of energy along the body’s meridians, dry needling carefully inserts fine-filament needles into the muscles at precise locations. This is done in accordance with evidence-based guidelines, to stimulate nerves at trigger points, reducing muscle tension, improving range of motion and normalising dysfunction. Along with remedial massage, dry needling can help greatly with the relief of neck, shoulder, back, and hip pain.
MUSCLE TESTING
Before your therapy begins at Elite Massage and Dry Needling, you would first undergo a detailed muscle analysis. Specialised tests will check your range of motion, determine where pain is originating from, and where no pain is being experienced. These tests are manual and require one-on-one interaction. Once we have a thorough understanding of your condition, we formulate an effective plan of action for your healing.
REHABILITATION
MASSAGE
Restricted range of motion and tight muscles are common after an injury or following surgery. Rehabilitation massage at Elite Massage and Dry Needling is a targeted and site-specific remedial massage. The aim of rehabilitation massage is on easing muscular tension to provide relief from pain and improve the range of motion. Rehabilitation massage here, is tailored to each client and done with special care and full consideration for muscular damage and risk of reinjury. Our focus is on your rehabilitation.

Do health rebates apply to your Remedial Massage?
Yes. Elite Massage and Dry Needling is registered with health funds and our remedial treatments qualify for rebates. It’s a good idea, of course, to check your cover for the allowances your policy offers.
Does your massage require me to undress?
Not all remedial massage sessions require you to undress. None would require you naked. A full body massage would need to you be in your underwear. You would enjoy privacy while you undress to your underwear. And, other than the area being worked on, you’d be covered by a towel at all times. Naturally, the treatment room would be completely private and the temperature adjusted for your comfort.
What if I can’t get comfortable on the massage table?
Your comfort is a priority. By all means, make yourself as comfortable as you need. If we need you to change your position, we’ll let you know and help you move as needed. Otherwise, move around as you wish to get comfortable. People often like to relax completely during a session. They will close their eyes. Others prefer to talk. It’s your massage. Feeling relaxed means doing whatever feels natural to you. And feel free to ask questions at any time.
What are your qualifications to provide health treatments?
Elliot holds a diploma of Remedial Massage, Neuromuscular Dry Needling and Cupping. In fact, he topped the class. But it’s Elliot’s undeniable passion for understanding human movement and biomedical dysfunctions that elevates the standard of treatment at Elite Massage and Dry Needling.
Is massage safe?
Remedial massage is a safe and appropriate therapy for people of all ages. That said, it’s important for you to let us know of any health concerns and medical conditions you have before treatment begins. We can then plan your therapy to suit you. Even when you’re unsure — perhaps you sustained an injury some time ago — let us know. The more we know, the better. If you are pregnant, please let us know when you make your booking. Please don’t book for a massage if you’re suffering from a cold, flu, or contagious skin condition.
